Dry Polishing and Deburring Media

Our dry finishing media contains unique blends of dry and ground corn cobs utilizing several additives to produce specific finishes on different metals.

Hi-Lite #10 Produces a very high luster. Used for polishing in high energy and vibratory machines.
Plain Corn Cob No additives added. Good for parts drying, dry-blasting and light finishing. Available in many different mesh sizes.

MFI Premium Corn Cob for Polishing

MFI’s blended Corn Cob provides a high luster finish on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Four different formulations are available in four different grades.

MF-1 – Sold mostly in a blend grade cob, MF-1 is a more aggressive cob used in high energy machines.
MF-2 – Good to use for polishing in high energy machines
MF-3 – Widely used in Centrifugal Disc and high energy machines. MF-3 is blended specifically for keeping cool in the Centrifugal Disc and Spindle machines.
MF-4 – Same as the MF-3 formulation, with chromium-oxide added
